About the position

Working as an operator in our tool department means being responsible for grinding and polishing our steel tools. Together with the team leader and your colleagues, you will plan your work during daily management. You will work independently, but together with knowledgeable and dedicated colleagues, you will help each other achieve new successes and find productive solutions.

We are looking for you who:

-        are at least 18 years old and have a high school education or other education deemed equivalent by the employer

-        can work shifts, which means working mornings every other week (Monday-Thursday from 05:30 to 14:30 and Friday from 05:30 to 13:00) and afternoons every other week (Monday-Thursday from 14:20 to 23:40 with Friday off)

-        are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, to understand and follow work and safety instructions

-        have good knowledge and experience working with MS Office

It is an advantage if you have previously worked as a CNC operator, preferably in a mechanical workshop, or have experience with processing tool components. This requires you to be meticulous, able to maintain pace, and practically oriented. For us, it is important that you are a good team player with a strong work ethic and a desire to always do your best. You are careful, responsible, see needs, and take initiative.

We offer you

Nord-Lock is a company with positive development; we work in modern facilities with a good working environment and friendly colleagues. At the start of your employment, you will receive a thorough introduction to the company and internal training for the machine(s) you will be working with.

We strive for diversity – we are convinced that differences promote creativity, well-being, and good results. We offer you an exciting workplace with a breadth of competencies that provides good opportunities for professional development.
